I will answer 2 questions which I wrote a few weeks ago.

3. What are groups against animal captivity doing concretely in order to prevent such things?
Answer: I searched the internet for information, and came up with some answers. People against animal captivity band together and make campaigns against keeping animals in captivity. In October 2013, the campaign called “Fight for Flight” went into action. This movement is against captivity of birds, such as flamingos, cranes or other large birds. The group claims that these birds should be allowed to fly(because of their imprisonment such big birds cannot fly)and cruel acts such as severing the end of one wing just after a few days of birth should be banned.

4. How can people and animals co exist?
This was a rather general question, so I found it hard to answer.
The number of human kind is steadily growing. As human beings make their living grounds more and more, they begin to invade wildlife, causing animals to flee. People then turn to lethal control efforts to kill “offending animals” and this can lead to extinction of such animals. People must understand that natural resources are not infinite, and that animals have a right to live where they were born. Currently, USA's “Coexisting with Wildlife” campaign is the promotion of educated coexistence with our wild neighbors.

  1. I was especially interested in question 4. I think humans are no way "rulers" of animals. At the same time, it is our responsibility to keep animals and the environment in good condition. I think this is the most difficult (kind of) paradox regarding this topic.
