Question6

Are there any differences between animals in danger and animals kept for eating?

This was also a delicate question. Cows, chickens, and pigs we keep for eating are undoubtedly animals. That's why often this question comes up, and there are vegetarians in this world. Are eating (killing)such animals not good and better be prevented? If I use concrete numbers, about 7.7 billion land animals are killed for our food. This number may be shocking, but true. I am not a vegetarian, and can't answer clearly to this question, but I don't hide my shock of knowing this. I came to know that one vegetarian saves between 371 and 582 animals per year. But think of the denominator of such animals. They are massive compared to animals which are in need. But we should not forget to thank the animals we eat, and then remember not to waste their lives.
