People with negative opinions about the topic

I played the part of a person who was against animal captivity called Morgan McCauley, and I will write down his thoughts and stance.

He believe that wild animals who live in nature belong to where they live, and should not be put into cages for our own entertainment. We may enjoy looking at rare animals or cute animal babies, but the animals will surely not enjoy their state. Animals in zoos suffer physically and mentally as their living environment will be so different from their natural habitats. Many animals in zoos show signs of distress such as pacing in their cages or rocking backwards and forwards repeatedly （Experts say that these behaviors are caused by stresses of being held captive.）This may be an extreme opinion, but presenting animals in zoos as living exhibits teaches children that animal can be manipulated in order to fulfill our own curiosity. From an an animal rights standpoint, we do not have the right to breed, capture and confine other animals, even if they are endangered. Some zoos even just kill the animals they bred too much. Also, one study says that elephants kept in zoos do not live as long as elephants that live in the wild. These are the main reasons why I'm against animal captivity.
